adidas adizero adios Pro Evo 3
The shoe that broke the sub-2-hour marathon record on its first competitive outing, the adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 Shoes in Cloud White/Core Black/Solar Turbo have redefined long distance speed.
Under 100g in weight, the adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3 is incredibly lightweight, but also impressively propulsive.
In part, this is due to the Lightstrike Pro foam through the midsole which delivers a hugely energised feel in an incredibly lightweight package.
It is also due to the re-design of the stiffening element. Instead of using a full carbon plate, adidas have used what they are calling an ENERGYRIM. A horse-shoe shaped element that follows the outside edge of the shoe without meeting at the toes, it leaves the middle of the shoe free to develop bounce through the foam; while still maintaining the stiffness and efficiency we have come to expect in elite race day shoes.
Elsewhere, adidas have used Continental rubber in the forefoot for effective traction, and a super-lightweight upper with precise targeted support.
