Fresh off the back of another Olympics Gold for Team USA Men's basketball team, Nike are entering their prestigious archive once again for another blast of iconic basketball nostalgia.

The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Gold Medal” celebrates Kobe Bryant’s first-ever Olympic gold as part of the “Redeem Team”. This colourway debuted in 2009 to commemorate USA Basketball’s triumphant run during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, led by the Los Angeles Lakers legend alongside other NBA superstars.

Now re-releasing in 2024, The updated Protro is embracing the shoes original glory, featuring a colour scheme of White, Dark Obsidian, Varsity Red, and Metallic Gold, staying true to its 2009 roots.
