That night, Nike launched the original 'Mamba Day' Kobe 11 , letting fans customise their own pair in real time as the game played out. Now, exactly a decade later, the Nike Kobe 11 'Fade To Black' worn by Kobe in his final game returns.
A black Flyknit upper is paired with Metallic Gold hits throughout. A ReactX drop-in midsole replaces the Lunarlon foam found in the original Kobe XI, and is combined with the same heel Air Zoom unit to deliver responsive cushioning. On the exterior, the outsole features a revised tread pattern for premium traction and court feel.
